Centennial’s amazing new Athletic and Wellness Centre became a reality when with the Student Association volunteered partial financing of construction costs with funds raised from annual student fees.  Now that this state of the art facility nears final completion, the Association began to explore the option of creating a synthetic sports-field complex adjacent to the new building.  NetGain was asked to test the capacity of the field operation to generate sufficient revenue to service the debt required to install a field turf playing surface, running track, scoreboard, stadium seating, field house, and food service equipment.  Our analysis took into account local demand, competition, pricing constraints, seasonal limitations, utilization rates, and the College’s internal sports field requirements, in relation to the capital cost of the various features of the complex.  The resulting report is now in the hands of the Associations manager awaiting review and presentation.
