Our Approach to Achieving the
Right Kind of Change

It all starts with a client’s idea.

We translate that into pro forma budgets, critical path plans, and business narratives to help bring confidence and consistency to the work of other specialists in finance and law, architecture and design, or fund raising and government relations.

The Work Process

magnifying-01-02.png

Step 1: Find it.

We look beyond the obvious to uncover new opportunities and solutions.

With deep industry knowledge, strong connections, and cross-sector engagement, we know what’s possible through partnerships, open dialogue, and an external perspective.

Step 2: Define it.

We define the dream (or problem) and kick-start progress.

We bring insight and help you articulate what it is you’re trying to define and accomplish.

Step 3: Keep Going.

We don’t give up until there are results.

We know from experience that large-scale thinking involves ambition, imagination and creativity. Through critical analysis and a holistic approach we help create positive change.

While the focus often rests on immediate threats and opportunities, an objective perspective can reveal hidden challenges and untapped possibilities.

Robin Uchida, (He/Him)

A spectral figure in the life of the firm, Robin intrudes on and recedes from NetGain when need for his intelligence and perspective can no longer be ignored. His contributions are both enriching and fascinating.

Monet Tessier (They/Them)
BaSc.
Executive Assistant and Research Associate

Upon completion of their BaSc TMU, specializing in workplace safety, Monet had time available to help NetGain cope with a post-pandemic surge in demand.  Monet steps into the breech where the work exceeds capacity, balancing mundane chores with fascinating challenges.  Their mission-focused temperament enables them to perform many finite tasks in support of more complex, open-ended project objectives.   This has presented some new challenges including their first press release, concert promotion work, website editing and online brand management, and reconstruction of client budgets.  But as they’d describe her role, they’re the designated fire safety officer at NetGain, perpetually extinguishing what flares up for others.
